What it does:

Trello is a simple yet effective collaboration tool that allows you to organize your projects into cards and boards.

Why you need this:

It’s an all-in-one project management tool for collaboration, task Organization, scheduling, and file Sharing. It’s designed to make your life easier. No need to send multiple emails or look for files. Everything you need can be found in one little card.

The idea behind it.

Trello is a simple concept. It makes use of cards and boards to organize your projects efficiently via its easy drag and drop interface. It works as an organizer that can hold an incredible amount of cards on several different boards. With the help of this tool, you don’t need to keep all your ideas in your head or make classic to-do lists that never really worked.

What Bob likes

Trello makes remote team organization and collaboration fast, easy, and affordable. It allows you to save all of the files and information needed for a certain project in one place (board) and tag your employees on specific tasks. Bob also likes the drag-and-drop interface because it feels intuitive and makes it easy to assign, prioritize, and move tasks and visually, the use of the app’s columns allows the organizer to clearly track a task throughout its entire process.

What it doesn’t have or doesn’t do

Trello does not provide an option to delete a card or task. The only option provided is to move it to archived.

Bob Mini Review

Trello is a good tool for business, but can also be used for other projects and heads of the household as well. The possibilities for using this app are endless – It has a wide variety of features while still remaining flexible enough to have plenty of different uses.

However, becoming fluent in Trello can take you some time. There are lots of cool options tucked away that I still don’t feel like a power user even though I’m almost using the app. This is the reason why I sign-up for the email newsletters because I get a lot of new information about ways on how to use the app and its new features.
What I like about this app is that you can give each card a due date. You can then flip “Calendar” view on to rearrange your cards into a calendar. It’s really a good tool for project management. What’s more is that when you refer others, you can get a free month of Trello Gold – this provides more customization options like “fun” backgrounds on your boards, stickers, and emojis.

Trello is an efficient solution to track tasks and phases in a project. It also allows you to keep tabs on specific work for specific clients and provides a solid framework to stay organized for big projects that are beyond the day-to-day.

Should you try it?

Yes, especially to those who want to start to organize their development projects, or personal projects, or even your life progress. It works like charm and Bob also recommends that you integrate it with Slack app. It comes with a nice mobile app that’s very intuitive that you can install on your smartphone, so you can keep track of your team’s boards and help them when they get stuck in something. It is good to know about Kanban methodology or other that works for you before you start trying Trello.
