What it does:

Sushi Status allows you to create a visual report that everyone will understand at a glance.

Why you need this:

The worst thing about reports is the time it takes to make them — but with Sushi Status, that’s no longer a problem. Sushi Status solves this problem with streamlined, easily comprehensible reports.

The idea behind it.

To ease the pain of keeping your clients posted, the developers behind this project created a highly automated update generation tool that can pull information about budgets, to-dos, timelines, and flagged issues directly from the tracking tools that you are already using.

What Bob likes

Bob likes the drag and drop user interface.

What it doesn’t have or doesn’t do

Bob suggests to include a free sample report offer on the homepage – it’s a nice way to give people a taste of what they’ll be getting before signing up.

Bob Mini Review

Let’s face it, many clients and team members will merely skim your status reports, or even ignore it entirely. Sushi Status would like to change that idea by keeping your clients and other stakeholders up to date on how the project is coming along with informative, visually appealing emails. Cool eh? It’s easy to use too – thanks to its drag and drop user interface.

To compose a new report, simply drag and drop the elements for your report (text block, timeline, checklists) into the order you’d like. You may also choose a color scheme, or add a logo. It also allows you to pull in data from Basecamp or FreshBooks. Then, select your recipients and send it off.
